In cinematography, full-frame refers to the full image at maximum width and height. The big picture. But for me, full-frame also means capturing those small details and unpredictable moments that often go unnoticed but draw you into a story.

About Full Frame

Since 1998, Full Frame has been providing creative video production services to help local and international businesses as well as non-profit organizations share their stories through television programs, commercials, web-based social media and special event videos.

After many years in the business, we understand what it takes to engage a viewer and cultivate a positive response to our client’s message and brand. Often our projects are the signature element of a comprehensive marketing strategy.

Full Frame is a small or “boutique” style production house on purpose. We prefer to keep it that way so we can offer more personal service and develop long-term relationships with our clients. But despite our size, we provide complete production and post-production services, creative development and design, script writing, production planning, logistics and overall project management.

About Scot McDonald: Owner/President

As a director, videographer and editor, I’m hands-on from conception to finished product. You could say I wear many hats – but for me that’s a good thing.  I enjoy working through the entire creative process and guiding our small team of talented individuals. It helps keep our projects focused on their goals and maintains a clear vision from beginning to end. It also helps us work efficiently and effectively within a limited budget.

I prefer to travel light and keep things simple. After almost three decades in this business I’m fortunate to have the technical experience and confidence to focus on story telling rather than over-obsessing about equipment. My goal is to always be prepared and in the moment - ready for anything.
